YAZ SHIRAZI
I'm a Senior Motion Designer with over eight years of experience creating commercial and broadcast motion for global brands, combining typography, storytelling, and motion systems to build clear, engaging visual narratives across advertising, digital, and branded content.
My work spans Super Bowl advertising, Emmy-nominated productions, broadcast design, social campaigns, and large-scale commercial rollouts. I specialise in translating complex ideas into design-led motion that strengthens brand identity and connects with audiences across multiple platforms.
I lead projects from concept through final delivery, collaborating closely with creative directors, designers, copywriters, producers, and cross-functional teams to create work that is both visually distinctive and strategically effective.
I have a Master of Fine Arts in Traditional Animation & Storyboarding and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film, Animation & Video from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). My practice is rooted in typography-led motion and system-based design thinking, combining clarity, rhythm, and expressive movement across both 2D and 3D environments.
